Orders Reports

View combined order metrics, with product and marketing source performance

Orders reports allow you to view reporting based on Orders, aggregated by a variety of dimensions. Choose Filters to narrow down the results by other metrics, and export the results by choosing Download CSV.

Note: Orders differ from Transactions. Transactions are unique payment events, while Orders result only from a completed purchase by a Customer, and may comprise multiple payment transactions.

Drill-down on the report results to view a list of the unique orders, where you can further filter the results to isolate specific transactions by a variety of metrics.

Orders Reports display the below aggregated data points for orders placed within the chosen date range. Revenue, upsell, and refunds totals would be reflected only with respect to orders placed within the chosen date range.

  • Shipping Revenue

  • Returns (Refunds)

  • Net Revenue

  • Avg Order Value (AOV)

Hover over the Upsell Revenue, Shipping Revenue, Returns, and Net Revenue values to view as percentages (%).

On Orders Reports, the Customers column displays the unique count of customers with orders. Since customers can have multiple orders each, this data point helps quickly identify the number of unique shoppers in the aggregate orders totals.

This count is helpful for performance marketers that pay commissions for acquiring new unique customers (CPA).

Orders Overview

View a breakdown of Orders performance across your entire store for the date range specified, along with a list of those. Drill down on the results by a multitude of Filters or choose to Download CSV to export the data for custom analysis.

Orders by UTM

View a breakdown of Orders by UTM_Campaign, Source, Medium, Term, and Content values, based on the utm parameters that can optionally be passed into order source attribution fields. Click on the Orders totals to drill down and view a list of individual transactions.

Orders by Affiliate

View a breakdown of Orders by Affiliate values, totalled based on the affiliate and subaffiliate values that can optionally be passed on order source attribution. Click on the Total Orders for each row to drill down and view a list of individual orders, or click on the Affiliate name to drill-down to display Sub-Affiliate, Sub-Affiliate1, 2, data.

Orders by Product

View a breakdown of orders by Product.

Products with multiple Variants are grouped in this report view according to the parent product.

Note that the Avg Value displays the average revenue per item within an order. This differs from the Avg Order Value of other Orders reports, which display the average total order value (rather than per item).

Orders by SKU

View a breakdown of orders by SKU.

Note that the Avg Value displays the average revenue per item within an order. This differs from the Avg Order Value of other Orders reports, which display the average total order value (rather than per item).

Orders by Tag

View a breakdown of orders by the Tags that are associated to them.

Orders can carry multiple Tags. Orders with multiple Tags are displayed in the totals for each of those Tags.

View a breakdown of Orders by Country, based on the shipping address of the customer on the associated order. Clicking on the values under the Orders column for each row allows a drill-down view of a list of individual orders attributed to each Offer.

A SKU is the code for the physical item that exists at your .

Tags can be applied to orders created over the API, or applied manually via the . Tags can be used to segment orders from various sources, channels, or to keep track of custom business logic for use downstream in reporting.

View a breakdown of Orders by Funnel, based on the funnel ID, which is automatically passed for orders created via internal , or the funnel value that can optionally be passed into order source attribution for orders created on the Admin API. Clicking on the values under the Orders column for each row, allows you to drill down and view a list of individual orders attributed to each funnel.

View a breakdown of Orders by Offer, based on the offers or vouchers parameter passed for orders created via the storefront or on the Admin API. are equivalent to a custom discount, incentive, or coupon logic that is applied to a cart or an order. Clicking on the values under the Orders column for each row allows a drill-down view of a list of individual orders attributed to each Offer.

View a breakdown of Orders by Coupon, based on the coupon code, also referred to as the vouchers parameter passed for orders created via the storefront or on the Admin API. are codes you create for your customers to apply to trigger straightforward discounts, or a variety of conditional promotional incentives. Clicking on the values under the Orders column for each row allows a drill-down view of a list of individual orders attributed to each Coupon code.
