Gateway Groups overhaul and Shopify confirmation emails

New Features

  • Revamped Gateway Groups Interface: Gateway Group settings and UX have been completely overhauled for a more seamless and intuitive experience, making it easier for merchants to manage their gateway configurations.
  • Shopify Order Confirmation Emails: Order confirmation emails can now be sent from Shopify when using the Shop Sync app, offering more flexibility in customer communications.

Improvements

  • Cancelable Fulfilled Pending Orders: Orders that are pending payment but already fulfilled can now be canceled via order management actions—streamlining customer service operations.
  • Default Variant Image Handling: Product variants now automatically use the main product image if no variant-specific image is set.
  • Admin API Gateway Access: A new gateways:read permission has been added to the Admin API, allowing targeted access to gateways and gateway group endpoints.
  • Digital Product Subscription Pricing: Subscription creation for digital products no longer inherits the initial order’s shipping price, ensuring more logical and accurate subscription pricing.
  • Improved Checkout CSS Editing UX: Checkout customization settings now load more smoothly, preventing premature reloads while editing CSS for a better user experience.
  • Faster Delivery Tracking App: Database queries in the Delivery Tracking app have been optimized to improve page load speeds and overall UX.
  • Automatic Order Archiving: Orders older than 6 months with no updates will now be automatically archived, keeping order management views clean and focused on actionable items.
  • Stripe Radar Integration: Stripe gateway decline handling now integrates with Stripe Radar outcomes for improved mapping to global transaction response codes.
  • Extended Fulfillment Delay Options: Automatic fulfillment delays can now be set for up to 72 hours (4320 minutes) after order creation, supporting longer fulfillment lead times.
  • Product Sync Enabled by Default in Shop Sync: The Shop Sync app now automatically enables Product Sync by default, aligning with expected behavior for most merchant setups.
  • Improved Checkout Customization Settings UI: Setting names and help text in Checkout Customization have been refined for greater clarity when adjusting storefront appearance.
  • More Accurate Decline Code Mapping: Next Commerce Payments decline code mappings have been updated for improved reporting and clearer transaction handling.
  • SpeedX Carrier Support: SpeedX has been added to the carrier mapping list when importing fulfillments from ShipStation.

Bug Fixes

  • Shop Sync Address Line 2 Fix: Resolved an issue where Address Line 2 was not syncing properly through Shop Sync for order fulfillments.
  • Sitemap Loading Fix: Fixed an issue that caused sitemaps to fail to load correctly.
  • Product Page 502 Error Fix: Corrected a bug that resulted in a 502 error when viewing non-public product pages.
